Wonderful modern luxury hotel in the countryside next to Motovun town. The restaurant had great food, and the best breakfast I’ve had in Croatia so far. There is also a wine shop and a pool. The hotel sits on top of the vineyards and make sure to book the tour if your interested in wine! Definitely worth it, super interesting. Will be back!

Very comfortable stay with friendly and helpful staff, walkable to all the vineyards and amazing scenic views. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking at staying in Motovun, great breakfast options and dinner menu with wine pairing of their own wines.

Very strange to find such an original dining and lodging establishment in a quiet area of the country. We had a pleasant walk around town and walking to the high point, and to return to our hotel where we had good wine and good food.

We had the big apartment with the mirror balcony. The room was a nice size however the AC struggled to keep the room cool. Likely due to the windows and mirrored balcony that baked in the sunlight all day. We did enjoy the balcony during a wonderful lightening storm so that was fun. The staff was super helpful in trying to get the AC to work and it did get to a point of tolerable but it meant keeping the drapes closed at all times defeating the purpose of the room with the views.

Overall the hotel is excellent, very clean and new. The breakfast is very good. The only thing is that the room is too warm and when we opened the windows, it’s quite noisy as our room is facing the road.

My only regret is that I booked this property for one night only. Definitely looking forward to coming back and spending more time in Motovun. This place isn't cheap, but it is totally worth the splurge. Amazing rooms, staff, breakfast buffet and wine selection!

Quirky and modern

Stunning views. The hotel was modern and quirky. The service was excellent. The walk to Motovun old town was about 25-30 minutes uphill which was fun. Also did the winery tour which was informative and interesting.

Great view and location

Everything was perfect – stunning location with great views, just a short walk from Motovun. Fantastic wine and tastings. The only downside was that our gourmet experience was forgotten, and with only one waiter the service fell short. They did apologise and offered a discount the next day. Overall, a wonderful hotel we’d gladly return to, though they definitely need more staff to match the high standard.

Lovely location. Excellent tasting menu in the restaurant with their wine and great staff. The decor was not my taste but the location outweighs the style. The bed height was also a challenge! We decided against the bunk bed but was still tricky 🤔

The hotel is beautifully located and the Rox Suite in particular has magnificent views. We weren't told until after booking that the restaurant was unavailable during our stay due to a private function which was disappointing. Also the pool needs a bit of work as tiles are falling off.

This was our second time coming back to Istria and Roxanich. We keep coming back because this place is next level. A truely beautiful hotel for design lovers and even better wine! The complimentary buffet breakfast (with mimosas!) is exceptionally tasty, with lots of options for vegetarians like myself. This year we stayed at Roxanich during the peak season (beginning of August) and while there were more guests than during our first stay (end of June 2024), the installations (pool, saunas) and the hotel (premises, restaurant) did not feel overcrowded.

Excellent hotel in a stunning location with great views and a lovely infinity pool. Room was much larger than expected and had a very unique design. Food was lovely, breakfast had lots of options but all were done to a very high quality. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Many of the Roxanich wines on sale by the glass in the bar which were very reasonably priced. Would love to return at some point!

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful landscape very close to Motovun village. Excellent breakfast on the terrace, good wine tasting, room and bed very comfortable. Nice pool with view and bar but space was limitated because of the high season/number of people.
