My husband and I came to town to fish on Lake Dubay. We were towing our boat, lucky for us we stayed Mon-Wed and there were maybe 2 or 3 other guests because the parkinglot was tiny. The hotel, room, lobby were super clean. The workout room was super tiny, so we decided with the 2 of us in there to workout, it would be way too cramped. After our first night we came down for the included breakfast, we were interested to see how it would be since we knew only a few other people stayed the night. As we assumed (and understandably) there were very limited amounts of food. Fruit, some yougurt, cereal, prepackaged juices, hard boiled eggs and an assortment of bagels and prepackaged pastries. There was a warmer with microwavable bacon slices, egg and kraft cheese slices "omelets"and maybe one other thing-none of which were actually warm. My husband had to warm his food up in our room microwave. There was also a wafflemaker and some instant packets of oatmeal. Unfortunately there really wasnt anything gluten free or dairy free, so i went to another place to eat breakfast. As a suggestion, maybe offer a voucher for breakfast at a diner in town instead of setting up a subpar breakfast area on days that arent busy?
The staff were all super friendly and the facility was really clean. The only other odd thing was that when we checked out there was a random person laying on the couch and another person loitering near a curb. It was very off putting. Is it a cooling shelter on hot days?
