"We booked a double queen bed several months out. Day of arrival, we checked in around 4pm for a two-night stay. The lady working the front desk said sorry we do not have any double queen rooms left so we gave you a king bed with a pull-out couch. We also gave you a "lake view". I said no way, due to circumstance we need what we paid for. She said sorry, you used a third party (hotels.com) and we do not have to honor that. Unreal. I called hotels.com and after over an hour on the phone they said they could try to move us somewhere. Again, we booked this hotel in the area we needed to be on the day we needed for the State Championships, I could not risk being moved somewhere else in Jacksonville for a variety of reasons. We made do, but it was beyond uncomfortable and the reason for not honoring is unacceptable. By the way, the lake view (retention pond) was blocked and instead it was the view of the roof. What we really saw out our window was a clogged, moldy roof drain. Be careful booking this particular Hyatt and that is all I have left to say."

"Lovely new facility. Rooms are a tad smaller than older hotels. No plain black tea available for grab and go breakfast, but they are looking to include in the future. Great staff! "

"I’ve stayed with Marriot before… Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing overall. The room appeared poorly maintained and not properly cleaned before arrival. The shower fixtures were heavily rusted, the shower handle required excessive force to turn on and off, and the shower head continuously dripped against the metal plate all night, making it difficult to sleep. The shower door was also rusted and extremely difficult to open and close. Cleanliness was another major concern. I found two applesauce pouches left in the refrigerator from a previous guest, and there were crumbs/sand in the bed. After accidentally dropping my phone behind the bed near the headboard, I found dust, crumbs, pills, bottle caps, and other debris that clearly had not been cleaned in quite some time. To make matters worse, the bed vibrated during the night due to what seemed to be an issue with the AC fan or motor. There was also a teen sports team staying on the same floor playing loud music, yelling, and running through the hallways until almost 1 AM both nights, making it nearly impossible to rest. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance issues, and noise made this stay far below expectations."

"Key card reader not working for pool area or gym Limited parking and you are not guaranteed a spot even if you book here I wasnt notified of the card reader not working at the pool when I checked in. Oatmeal toppings were not labeled and neither were the beverages in the pitchers Friday bfast 6:30-9am Scrabble eggs, turkey sausage, spinach and cheese quiche, sausage sandwich bagel, Bagels, cereal, nonfat white and chocolate milk and 2% white milk, Med and decaf coffee, oat milk available, Boiled eggs were uncovered in the fridge, yogurt, NO FRUIT, condiments, NO WAFFLE MACHINE. Breakfast area was clean and organized just not labeled properly. No straws for coffee. Room had a weird odor like the carpet and the sofa needs to be shampooed and cleaned. No ice machine. Fridge started leaking water underneath the 2nd day I had the ice machine turned on. (Staff was notified) Loved the size of the luggage carriers and how they are easy to use. Small elevators. DISSATISFIED about the room being locked before 12 noon. I was unable to get back into my room at 1130am to get the rest of my things inside my room and was shocked if I had small children inside with me keeping them safe inside the hotel instead of inside my vehicle while loading my personal items I was unhappy about this incident and staff should take into consideration about this matter. Room odor, dirty bathroom tiles, cracked tile, open access to power box. Loved the size of the TV and the personalized greeting"
