"There's no air-conditioning in this hotel (it's a listed building), but in the current heatwave the room was unbearably hot. Room 245 had only 1 window, this was quite stiff and awkward to open/close... But even open did little to alleviate the heat, this built up during the day even with curtains ..."

"I stayed in the merlin yurt which was nice and clean, comfy bed and duvet. I enjoyed the log burner as it was a novelty to me. The kitchen was basic but had everything you could need. "Just got back from an absolutely fantastic 2 night stay in the Shepherds Hut. The hosts were amazing. Views were amazing. The shared kitchen had everything you could need, and the bar at the back to use for yourselves was a great touch. Will definitely be returning again to try out the little cottage ..."
