"Note the hotel is surrounded by bars open until 4am and 6am and if your room is facing out on to the main road you might be in for a very sleepless night. The hotel have very little empathy, just along the lines of what do you expect, its in a city centre hotel,.thats the general attitude. Also outright lied and said they offered an alternative room which when i asked at reception was actually told an outtright "no we are fully booked but there are earplugs provided in your room". Such a shame...

"Everything about our stay here was great. The staff were very helpful and caring. The room itself was outstanding - even had a view of York Minster. There was a tea service in the room including cookies and chocolates.The breakfast was the typical English breakfast which is a lot of food and it was all delicious. I would gladly stay here again."

"This is a nice enough place to stay, quiet and further out from the busy Leeds center with larger rooms and the options for two double beds. The rooms are large but even post renovation, very oddly done. There were a number of maintainance issues: the AC worked great for six hours and then worked very poorly, the control had no battery, the TV did not receive most of the basic channels. Breakfast was very good. Staff is very nice."
