Was not able to get any sleep because of another guests car alarm going off every hour all night long, tried calling front desk several times, no answer. Thankful we were only booked for one night. The room was clean, the lady at the front desk when we checked in was polite.

You Get What You Pay For

The hotel staff and front desk folks were fine and accommodating. The rooms were a bit run down and the bathrooms were in rough condition due to rust, leaks, and day to day use. The toughest part to deal with was the overwhelming smell of marijuana in the outside areas of the hotel, which tended to drift into the rooms. Obviously the price of the rooms were very competitive, but in the end you get what you pay for.

This place has people who love here. Residents were sitting in the wallway outside our room hanging out. The room has old furniture and bedding. My skin is still crawling. There wasnt enough Lysol to make it feel better. The bathroom curtain was dirty and stained. I was given a hard time about the early checkin until it was identified that i was from out of town. Never again... and i cant trust the Expedia reviews fully either.

Hotel Review: Home 1 Extended Stay, Alabama My experience at Home 1 Extended Stay in Alabama was deeply disappointing and unacceptable. Upon entering the room, it was immediately clear that cleanliness and pest control were serious issues. Roaches were crawling over the bed, the TV, the stove, and throughout the bathroom. It was unsettling and made it impossible to feel safe or comfortable in the space. Although I had booked for a three-night stay, I was forced to leave and sleep in my car due to the unsanitary conditions. I reported the issue, but the infestation made it uninhabitable. The only positive aspect of this stay was the receptionist, Jazmine, who was professional, pleasant, and genuinely tried to help. She was the one bright spot in an otherwise terrible experience. I cannot recommend this hotel until major improvements are made in cleanliness and pest management. No guest should have to choose between roaches and their car.
