Therés also a surprising amount of good restaurants 2-4 minutes walking distance, try the Palacio da China nearby if you want a change from Portuguese cuisine. No restaurant and only daytime concierge but wasn't an issue for us as there was dining nearby and in oldtown lagos. Didn't have any concerns we needed to raise with concierge so all worked out fine. Each little apartment has a living space, bathroom and a well equipped kitchen which includes microwave oven, stove and Smeg espresso machine on the main floor with winding steps up to a loft with a comfortable bed. The restaurant has a great chef with lots of homemade Portuguese dishes. We highly recommend this place. "
