This is a very basic motel at 5 star hotel prices, toilet seemed on the verge of overflowing, paper thin walls, however, place was clean, close to the beach and the town , staff was nice, but $4xx a night is about 3 times more that it should be.

I was a bit disappointed with the property, the room was very musky. Smelling, the rug didn’t feel clean. The Wi-Fi was horrible. we stay in Montauk every year, I would choose a different property next time.

Room had human waste on the toilet paper roll upon entry, heater wouldn’t turn on, ac would not blow and upon requesting assistance no one ever responded. Expedia was unable to cancel my reservation and get this refunded due to such unsanitary conditions. Stay clear book elsewhere they couldn’t even provide a clean environment for such an expensive night stay I felt like I got robbed.

Our neighbors held a party from 10:00 PM until 4:00 AM every night, during which the noise was extremely disruptive. When we asked them politely to lower the volume, they disregarded our request. We then called the front desk emergency number, but the person who answered informed us that no one would be coming to the property to address the situation. Needless to say we didn’t sleep at all and cut out stay short

A wonderful relaxing stay in Montauk

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Sole East. Loved this it was dog friendly. The front desk was super friendly and helpful during our stay. Thomas at the front desk reception is a rock star! We will return again.

Location was perfect. So close to beach and to shops. Would definitely stay here again. Adirondack chairs on the patios were sparse and in need of repair. Would be nice to have more seating/outdoor table. Staff was so helpful and addressed dampness concerns -we had a rainy week.
