"The TV remote didn't work and they were unable to get it working....but we were able to work the TV manually. Also, quiet time didn't start until 10 pm so we couldn't get to sleep until after the screaming kids went to bed. Breakfast was ok, but nothing to rave about; it served it's purpose."

The only thing I would say is that if you’re planning a big visit to Tamarindo stay at this place in 2027 and check that the construction is finished. They are currently building a club and pool area on the beach across from the rooms that we stayed at. If you stay before 2027 and you want a pool, they are offering for you...

"If you're in the area, I cannot recommend Conchal enough. It's a gorgeous little boutique hotel with a small number of rooms, which makes the experience feel less cookie-cutter. The staff are incredible, & the space itself looks exactly like the pictures - full of greenery & wildlife, & the pool is perfect. Things to note if you plan on staying here: - It's not a luxury hotel, but the staff will give you luxury hotel service. - The hotel itself is right off a main road, so you WILL hear traffic...
