The rooms are beautiful, the pool is stunning, the jungle gym is also such an amazing addition but nothing tops the the host himself, he made sure every question was answered and I truly felt at home almost 4000 km from Canada. "This place is paradise! My wife and I stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which was modern and spotless! I have visited Costa Rica a dozen times and this hotel (oasis) was by far my favorite. Joe, the owner went above and beyond in every way to make sure our stay was perfect. Breakfast is included and it’s spectacular. "The stay at El Sabanero Eco- Lodge was incredible. I stayed there with one of my close friends in a single bed suite. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. It was amazing the ways that the lodge works to be eco-friendly while still offering a comfortable experience. There was a water station for hot and cold water to fill your water. "Le propriétaire (Christian) est super sympathique. L'endroit est conviviale, chaleureux et accueillant. Les chambres sont convenables et confortables. Les deux seules lacunes sont le manque d'insonorisation entre les unités et l'eau chaude manquante. Pour ce dernier point, je crois que cela est une question d'ajustement car, étant ouvert que depuis quelques mois, ils ont encore des modifications à faire."

"Rooms were clean. We had the queen by the pool. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The view from the pool is stunning. Very relaxing spot. 25-30 minutes from Tamarindo beach. Food on site for lunch was great. Breakfast was ok. Carolina and Enrique were very kind and helpful. All in all a nice spot. We didn’t use the spa only the hot tub. But it looked nice. The road to get there is a bit windy and rough. But part of the adventure! "
