"My spouse and I planned a weekend getaway to Pismo Beach and chose to stay at Beachcomber Inn. We booked from Friday to Sunday. Although check-in was scheduled for 4:00 PM, we received a call around 9:00 AM letting us know our room was ready and we could check in early at no extra cost. "Really nice court yard with fire pits and a swimming pool. All next to the beach with a direct access. We spent most of the time going back and forth between the beach and the pool with two kids. Good food and a daily drinks while kids play. And wrap up the day with dinner around the golden hour with beach and sunset view. "

The host is very helpful and welcoming! Gave us some great tips on location, food, things to do and genuinely lovely person. "The staff was nice but we when we checked in, they’re instructions to get to our room was to go back out in the street, turn right, go past the laundry mat and then pull in. We thought it was a little strange because the rooms looked like they were right there. I will say the room was clean but very small, the furniture is very dated and everything is one color. "We arrived early but couldn’t check in yet so returned past check in time and had to wait over 30 minutes for room to be finished. Then there were no towels in the room. No towels at the pool. Staff were friendly. Attention to details can be improved. "

" Very good find in a quiet neighborhood. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. The room was a good size. Nice and clean. The amenities in the bathroom were great. With a light up mirror which was very nice. The shower was great pressure with plenty of hot water. The bed was very firm. I’m has a king so there were enough comfortable pillows. There was a very yummy Mexican food truck right across the street. "

When cleaning up to leave we realized that the rooms were not fully cleaned and one of the beds had a sandal and other items under the bed. Also the pull out bed had not been made or clean bedding been placed when we went to use it. "

"We had two rooms. The renovated double queen was really nice. The ocean front king room was very dated, so dated that the bathroom looked dirty. The non slip mat was disgusting and the floor tile had a huge chip. The bistro offering was just ok, but the smores kits were great. You also had to walk pretty far to get water in the lobby area. "The location is fabulous, the room was clean but the a/c was less than subpar. The property has bright lights all around that stay on all night but there are no drapes, only shutters so the light shines thru. The staff was friendly and you cannot beat the location. "
