Sunrise at Sunrise Resort Apartments & Spa

The property had a wow factor as my room had swimming pool and sea view, airy, good balcony with Sunrise view, neat and clean room. The service was very good, staff responded immediately after making call. Reception and other staff were helpful and courteous. Good to stay when on vacation.

listed as ocean / sea front - no sea view. no hot water for more than half the stay. found cockroaches in the fridge, bedroom and in the main living area. furniture was in poor condition. checked in and the safe wasn't working - did not get it fixed until the last 24 hours we were there. light not working when checked in and the kitchen lights were not working - they did fixed the same night. checked in and one of the bathroom doors did not have a know on the inside - told maintenance and their first suggestion was to leave the door ajar. They did fix this the next day. food was good - only had the beef skewers several times BUT they were good. i will not stay again and would not recommend.

They need to do more to clean the place. The fixtures are worn and in some cases simply broken. The service at the main restaurant was poor.

On our arrival we found that there was no hot water in the hotel. We were informed that this would be dealt with however it was resolved three days later on the last day of our stay. The apartment we were guven was dirty and in a state of disrepair with broken/missing toilet fittings. One of the ensuite bathrooms had a stench which made it unusable. The lift haf standing water on the floor which caused us concern and had dirty hand/finger prints on the walls. We were eventually moved from the apartment to two double rooms in another part of the hotel which were cleaner however the problems with access to hot water were only resolved at tge end of our stay. The front desk staff of Adam and Isaac did their best to deal with these issues however there are underlying issues in the running of this hotel

Am besten hat mir das Personal gefallen. Alle waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein paar sogar ausgesprochen aufmerksam ohne dass man etwas fragen musste. Leider weiß ich deren Namen nicht mehr, aber ich habe es ihnen direkt gesagt. Die Lage ist natürlich sehr gut, zu Fuß keine 5 Minuten zum Strand, ca. 7 Minuten zur Nyali Centre Mall. Die Zimmer sind schön, einzig die Bäder könnte man mal renovieren. Was fehlt, ist das landesübliche Bidet. Sehr seltsam... Ansonsten top. Die negativen Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Auch im Restaurant haben wir nie lange warten müssen, der Service war gut, teilweise sehr gut. Die Speisen waren gut und lecker, wir haben eine Menge probiert. Was toll ist, man kann rund um die Uhr bestellen, es gibt immer warme Küche. Das Spa ist schön, die Damen dort sind nett und machen einen guten Job. Allerdings ist es vergleichsweise recht teuer.
