Al Capone club is close by and still at 4am they were playing their music with loud bass so not a good place for hotel. Al Capone is new so a big disadvantage to hotels. Hotel was clean but pool closed at 6pm for cleaning which should be later. Otherwise room was ok.

Ok hotel near Nyali Beach

Nice hotel near Nyali Beach. Very nice and service minded people, especially the guy working evenings and nights in the restaurant. The rooms needs some improvements. There was a moldy smell and some spots in the roof. Breakfast was just ok. We had dinner there one evening, which was very good. Pool area is very nice.

Overall good, but misleading pictures

Overall the hotel and my experience was great. There was wifi throughout the hotel including the pool area. Their cooks are amazing and I had the best lamb chops of my life. But the pictures are misleading. I booked a superior room because it showed a living room. However, the superior room does not come with a living room. That is another type of room they have.

The hotel is quite old and needs updating but the staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. Being Mombasa, there is a problem with flies and mosquitoes but this is expected in the climate. The room AC is excellent to counteract this. The staff make up for any issues you have with the property as they will do everything they can to accommodate you.
