"Yes I was late for 9.00pm check in , but the pub was supposed to be open to 10Pm which it was not. Did not answer initial messages about a refund and refused a refund after Expedia called to request one. Make you own mind up what kind of place this is. "

"Fantastic communication from the outset. Easily found and right next door to The Mayflower public house so after a long journey there’s no further travelling to do to get an evening meal. Plenty of parking, very easy check in and an exceptional selection of produce supplied for breakfast next morning. Good heating system, great bed, powerful shower, all in all with all of the other attentions to detail a great stay, very highly recommended."

"On entry of the Hex Hotel the car park is a short distance from the hotel entrance, there is no drop off point immediately outside the reception area, eg - if it was raining your items would be quite if not not entirely soaked. My advice is to park up first, sign in at the Hotel Reception and then collect a porters trolley for your luggage from the reception area. "Place was thilthy not a triple room radiator hanging off the wall its house of multiple occupancy full of loud smack & crack head all shouting in the corrudor day & night cane back to mental health nusre banging like crazy said wanted the girl in our room who id atually seen & she said thats my room your in so then was worried about who had keys this place is nothing like advertised You shoukd not mix long term residents with issues with paying guests it was very frightening going out the room...

"We have stayed here many times and generally it’s been very good, however on this occasion things were not on song, our first night the room was very noisy as a function was taking place and loud disco music until 1am, please avoid room 106. I did voice my complaint and reception staff moved us to a different room much better nights sleep second night. Reference to room 106, bed not comfortable and very low, bathroom was cold towel rail not heating up and loo seat falls down as won’t stay up....
