"Very shady business ethics and definitely just recommended a friend to stay elsewhere for her trip to lima next month. I paid a $66 extra guest fee when booking through Expedia, but those guests canceled weeks before arrival. I notified the front desk at check-in, as instructed, and was later told the fee couldn’t be removed because the rate was “locked.” That makes no sense. This isn’t a rate change, it’s a charge for guests who never stayed. Charging for services not rendered is unacceptable. Requesting a refund."

"The hotel is new with great design and aesthetics. Staff were helpful. Location is great. Warning: the pool is not part of this hotel and that is not advertised. It is part of the Intercontiential hotel. Which means you have to be escorted by their reception staff to the pool to gain access and have to be escorted to the toilets while using the pool because you don’t have an access card yourself. This felt awkward to keep asking to be escorted and it felt like I wasn’t welcome. This massively impacted my experience here as a solo female traveller. "

"The staff was helpful and accommodating. I was delayed a day due to flight issues. They moved my pickup from the airport to the next day. They provided safe filtered water. Note that there is no air conditioning.They were doing work during the day in early March. Not sure of completion date."
