This is a smoke free hotel, but, our room reeked of smoke which was frustrating because we don’t smoke and we have two kids under 6 with us. And the bath fan didn’t work and the windows wouldn’t open so we had to just deal with it. I didn’t sleep more than an hour, trying to breathe through my t shirt. Disgusting experience. The worst part was the GM Brian was not very hospitable when I told him of our concerns. He told us we should have complained sooner but we checked in at 12:40am because the shuttle took so long and when I called at 2:30 am to let them know, Marie was nice but could only offer a king room for four people. To cap it off, when we showered, there were only 3 towels. Not to mention numerous broken items in the room and a name tag on the floor that said “move to room 326” which means they couldn’t have done a very thorough job or vacuuming before our stay either. Not surprised.

We only needed a place to stay overnight after watching the NBA game and to catch a flight in the morning. The hotel is conveniently located a few minutes away from the airport with a free shuttle running every 20 minutes. Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Upon arrival the front desk person was not forthcoming on any info about property, such as dining, pool, parking, the broken elevators. The TV's in room literally gives no info on when dining is available, no menu to order from, no hours of pool use. One of the employees couldn't understand the simplest question asked of her due to language barrier. For the over $200 plus I paid... I will go somewhere else next time.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. It is absolutely not worth the money. The overall appearance of the hotel is disappointing, the bathrooms are dirty, and the rooms do not feel clean at all. On top of that, several things throughout the hotel simply don’t work. At one point we were stuck in the elevator for about 20 minutes. When we reported it to the front desk, there was no apology and no attempt to make up for the inconvenience. We asked if there was any type of voucher or compensation for the situation and were told they had nothing to offer. While we were speaking with the concierge, other guests were also complaining about the elevators not working properly, and it didn’t seem like the staff were taking those concerns seriously. The food at the restaurant was actually good, but unfortunately the service was not. Our server, Dion, was not very pleasant. We waited nearly two hours for our burgers, while two other families who arrived after us (a total of eight people) received their food within about 30 minutes. Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. We originally booked our stay through Monday, but we decided we would rather take the financial loss and leave early than continue staying here. Save yourself the headache and book somewhere else and no I don’t want your apology and I don’t consider giving this hotel another chance!

Missing lightbulbs made the room very dark. Paying for parking at that place was a joke . The parking ramp was disintegrating. Held up by supports. Wouldn’t stay here again

The room was great. The front desk man was awesome!! super friendly and helpful. The gym has all the equipment you'll need...fully booked and clean. The building is old. The pool and hot tub were both shut down. We did use the sauna and fitness room. The parking garage is in need of a renovation...it looks like it will collapse soon. Many temporary posts holding up the roof. This crown plaza is getting old...needs a face lift. The fire alarm went off when we were there and had to go down the stairs and out the outside stairs to get out. There were signs of homeless people sleeping on the fire escape. Blankets and pillows and drug Paraphernalia.

Compassionate. First hotel Bestwestern turned me and my family away at 3:20am coming in from Indiana for a funeral because i was 20 minutes late due to travel conditions. Crown Plaze Staff came to rescue and allowed me to check in early so my family and I would not have to sleep in our car. Thank You Staff at Crown Plaza😁
