"Rooms have been renovated and are quite nice. Hotel has undergone renovations as well and looks very classy. My only criticism is that the hotel restaurants are all very expensive. Area surrounding the hotel is under construction and appears it will be going on for some time. Very limited shopping at Shinagawa Station and the surrounding area."

"When we got to the hotel the check in was pure chaos. There were not enough rooms for many they booked and must of been around 100 people waiting in the lobby. When we got our room it was so small we couldn’t barely open our suitcase inside of it. The staff was nice but definitely over worked so you could feel the stress when you needed help. The room was clean overall but the room was very old and outdated and you needed to use the big light to turn on all the small lights which I found strange. We only stayed one night thank goodness because we were flying out the next day."

"Our stay at the Royal Park Hotel Iconic Tokyo Shiodome was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. We stayed in a Premium Room with lounge access, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was beautifully designed, incredibly spacious by Tokyo standards, and offered stunning city views that made every morning and evening feel special. The attention to detail, comfort of the bed, and overall cleanliness were flawless. The executive lounge was one of the highlights of our stay. The service was warm, attentive, and professional throughout, with an excellent selection of drinks, cocktails, and beautifully presented food during cocktail hour and breakfast. It created such a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere after busy days exploring Tokyo. The hotel’s location in Shiodome was also perfect — connected conveniently to transit while still feeling calm and upscale. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued. Royal Park Hotel Iconic Tokyo Shiodome truly delivered a luxury experience with impeccable hospitality. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo looking for comfort, elegance, and outstanding service."

"The hotel is nice. However, it took us almost an hour to go through the check-in process and the staff seemed very stressed out the whole time and it was very hard to communicate with them. Out of the 3 panoramic rooms with tower view we booked, only one was available when we checked in even though it was almost 6pm. They said the hotel made a mistake and all the rooms were taken by somebody else, seemed like there was a big group arriving that day. One couple in the group ended up having to take a twin-bedroom because there was nothing else available and another one of the rooms barely had a tower view (which we had paid for). The guy at the front desk told us he was giving us drink vouchers to make up for the inconvenience, when in reality they were an expedia perk that was included from the beginning. The rooms were spacious enough, the amenities were nice, but the service could improve a lot and the hotel seemed a little dated. Overall it was an okay stay but the hassle to check-in was so bad we almost missed a reservation. Would not stay there again."
