"An old fashioned hotel with a fabulous brealfast in the old dining room. Lots of open fires. Unforunately the hotel is built over several levels with lots of creaking stairs . You will need help with your lugguage and it was provided. Hotel can be a bit noisy with the pub across the road and nearby construction. Safety handrails would be useful for getting out of the shower/bath."

"This was my third visit and it’s the reason I return to Scotland. The property is so unique and I always have an amazing time, so much so that I took my nephew from London! The team did a great job looking after us! The lady who checked us in and delivered our breakfast in the morning was a real gem; I can’t remember her name- but she was a genuinely lovely lady and I’m sure it won’t be long until we return!!! "We spent one night on our way to the airport. Two things to note: the hotel is right beside a very busy train track. If you are a light sleeper, then you should absolutely bring earplugs. Secondly, it costs 15 pounds to park overnight as the car park is privately operated. It's the first time I experience that, and given the price we paid for the hotel for one night I found it usurious. It is also not disclosed until after you book."

"A very well thought out and highly functional design perfect for those traveling to and from the Edinburgh airport. It's quite a walk though with a lot of luggage - especially in inclement weather. Perhaps the three hotels right beside each other could arrange to share a shuttle service to and from the airport."
