"We literally can't wait to go back. The location is absolutely perfect, the pool is awesome and the staff really lovely. The only thing that detracts is the 4pm check in which they seem to stick to, very rigidly. (Though our visit was during the heatwave of June so understandable if the rooms were taking longer to get ready). The cottage we stayed in was gorgeous and the complimentary minibar a lovely touch."

"Great location, very nice and helpful staff. The hotel is a bit outdated but it was great for our stay as a family of 4 for a short break. I would use it again. The common areas might benefit from a deep clean but the room was clean. Breakfast was quite basic but fresh. I would add non-diary milk options."

"Obviously this is a more old fashioned hotel but the pool was lovely and the room was spacious and clean although with a strong, funny smell. Unfortunately we were there on the hottest day of the year and the rooms were extremely hot with no fans. We couldn’t get all of the windows open - I think one was jammed shut. Staff were generally helpful and friendly although I had to constantly ask the waitress for basic things like butter, marmalade etc at breakfast as they weren’t brought to us. The other waitresses/waiters did seem much friendlier/more efficient. Having said that it was very hot for the staff to have to work in."

"The staff were very helpful. The hotel was nice and so its amenities like the pool, sauna, and steam room. They were very well maintained. The view of the town from our room was amazing, I just wished the door to the balcony could be opened. The room was very well equipped with everything that one will need during their stay and it was a plus that they have in-room breakfast service option if you don’t want to come down."

"Room was very clean and everything was so good. The room was modern with a gorgeous bathroom too. It was good to see a TV that had Netflix and YouTube and the view from the window was incredible of the garden. Highly recommend this place! Spa facilities were also amazing, make sure to contact about treatments prior to going though!"

"Amazing location, just what was required with temperatures hitting 35 degrees! Room was comfy, buffet breakfast was good with a good varied choice. Amazing views. Pool area & direct access to beach were a big plus. Only downside was the constant slamming of the door from the room next door at all sorts of times in the night but we tried to not let this ruin our short stay here."

"The most AMAZING location, the beach was 1.5 minutes from our bedroom door. Staff were nice and helpful. Food was fabulous. The kitchen was understaffed one of the nights we ate there and we had to wait over 1 hour for food to arrive. Had we known this when we made our reservation we would have made alternative arrangements. The harbour view from our balcony was amazing. The mattress NEEDS CHANGING URGENTLY - sloping both sides and so wants to eject you from the bed. It justifies its 4-star hotel rating though somehow there is a slight fawlty towers vibe ..... but in a nice way"
