"we stayed in room 4 and despite having a radiator this was centrally controlled by the main reception. we found this out on night 2 as when we went to bed on the first night we whacked the radiator on thinking that would be that but nope, cold as ice through the night. reception did sort but the room didnt get that warm so assuming the thermostatic valve wasnt fully operational. the shower screen squeegee at the bottom didnt properly fit and a gap up at the hinge point meant water escapes onto...

"Great place to stay. Hotel is kept in kind of dated 70's wallpaper style but it's very clean. Not well maintained you can see lack of proper finish after repairs. As always staff makes a fantastic job keeping guests happy. You can get amazing sleep with huge comfy and clean beds. Breakfast wise great choice both continental and cooked options. Swimming pool / leisure centre is highly recommended."

"Not a great experience The hotel is very shabby. Bed uncomfortable and room old fashioned. There was a random table in mine taking up space the room didn’t have with no chairs for it. No hairdryer in the room, had to phone down and ask for it. The iron leaked all over a cream skirt, spitting mucky water on it and marking it. Some kind of event / disco last night so extremely noisy and I wasn’t advised about it on check in. I have no issue at all with people having fun - and it sounded like...

"Loved the style of the hotel. Stunning decor and very comfortable beds. Staff were also delightful and well informed. The pool was a really decent size - though in contrast to the rest of the hotel the pool area is very grey and uninteresting. Also no jacuzzi. Food and drink very good and the dining room is beautiful. We had a spa suite which was very spacious and comfortable BUT be warned - it is a very long walk from these to the main hotel. I counted walking through 8 fire doors before...

"We found the Westerwood to be very charming. We used the spa facilities, watched the world cup game in the evening, and played a round of golf in the morning. Disappointing that we were never offered a scorecard from the pro shop, also be aware the course is pretty long and you need to pre-book a buggy! The course was lovely, well maintained and worth the hike!"
