"We had a great stay here, only for one night, but were made to feel very welcome and were glad we booked here. Set in an old farmhouse, the location was both beautiful and convenient, and our host recommended a great restaurant/pub up the road for dinner. We slept very soundly and were greeted by a hearty breakfast the following morning to start our day. Would highly recommend!"

"Had a great stay at Inveraray! Our room was adequate for my family of four with a fantastic breakfast to start each day. Fergal & Jen were great hosts providing recommendations for around the area and even had activities (games/toys/outside play area) for kids onsite. The tea room even allowed for an easy meal to have without going out."

"The check-in was an indicator of how the stay would go. We were given room key and told it was straight down the corridor opposite the reception desk. It transpired that the room was almost at the furthest point one could be from the reception area and involved a number of changes of direction and finally a very steep and narrow staircase with literally no landing outside the room. "I absolutely love The Lake Hotel. My daughter lives in Skibbereen, Ireland and this was my first visit to Killarney. She highly recommended it and I am so glad she did. This will become a new tradition of ours to stay a few nights at the Lake Hotel for our little mom and daughter getaway! The staff was amazing. The breakfast was exceptional. "Nice hotel with air conditioning in the rooms. Staff were friendly but only partially helpful. A child was running around and jumping in the room above us well until midnight and the reception only told us they would “check it out but couldn’t guarantee anything.” Did not stop after speaking with them and kept us up so long I got a migraine. One staff member was very helpful and brought me a bag of ice for it. Room was comfy but had some mold in the bathroom. Not sure if I would stay again."

"A wonderful hotel perched above the town of Killarney with amazing views down to Lough Leane. The staff were wonderfully friendly and nothing was ever too much bother. The views from the Lake Restaurant were particularly good and the rooms spacious and well appointed."

"Don't depend on the included parking. Despite the description saying it's included, if you arrive late, you'll have to drive around town and pay for your own parking. The tub showers are terrible - you can barely move and the shower head is at face height for an avg person. "
