"The property was amazing. It has been restored to all its grandeur from the 17th century. The facilities have been beautifully upgraded. The beds and pillows are heavenly. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a special Mexican tasting menu during g our stay which was better than anything I’ve had in Mexico. Thank you chef Martin and staff. The morning brunch was very good. What a wonderful place and fantastic staff. We had a great stay. Thank you"

"The room was spotless and spacious. The only drawback was, it was at the front and the traffic could be heard passing through the night. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was excellant and set you up for the day ahead. We only used the bar on our first night for an evening meal. The food was very good and the Guinness hit the spot. All in all a very good hotel and would stay here again."

"Supposed to be a 4 star hotel but a number of issues imo. Only one lift for a large hotel seems poor. You need to drop off your bags from the car at the entrance as otherwise there are steps to negotiate from the car park. The bar restaurant is frankly very poor in terms of noise and quality of food which arrived so quickly that it was obviously not freshly cooked and was pretty tasteless.
