"Well worn property, though clean, showed age (scary carrier). Great view of lake though remote, but expected. Best party was restaurant across the street"

"Loved this place. Clean, comfortable, quiet and had lovely views from the balcony. Tasty pastries for breakfast and cookies for bedtime. The only downside is that the area is not very walkable if you don’t have a car."

"The view of Hood Canal was gorgeous! Took many pics from the balcony. Room was very clean and neat. Many towels. Cozy beds. Advertised amenities were all there. Plus coffee and shampoo. Updated color decor. Quiet. Peaceful. Relaxing."

"We only stayed one night, but I really wanted to enjoy a beautiful view of the water. This hotel did not disappoint, and the staff were amazing as well! The balcony was pretty small, and could have used some chairs. Otherwise, it was worth every cent! Beds were comfortable, and it was very quiet! We slept great and slept with the slider open all night (just a little). What a great place to stay!"

"The staff was friendly, easy checkin- and checkout. Being disabled, we had a floor unit which was easy to manage. After leaving we noticed that my cane had been left behind. I called and asked about having it sent to me C.O.D., Management carefully located it, and returned my call. They sent it and did so without any charge. I greatly appreciate their kindness. Genuinely referring anyone that is traveling thru Shelton to book into the friendly Shelton Lodge."
