"Amazing communication with host prior to check in, so friendly and helpful. Wonderful room with excellent amenities, lovely furnishings, super comfy king bed with lots of pillows! Great having table n chairs for meals and well thought out kitchenette. Thank you for a perfect stay. Highly recommend Riverview at Ross."
"We booked one night in the lodge. The instructions for check in were easy to follow and our room and the communal areas (kitchen and bathrooms) were very clean and presentable. The lodge is right right next to the restaurant and Altho we did not eat there, the food smelt delicious."
"Very nice and cozy cottage just across the Visitor center.
The cottage is nicely decorated - much better than in the picture - with good amenities. The jacuzzi with bath salt was great after hiking! There is a full kitchen, but you'll need to bring your own supplies (there's salt and pepper provided, along with tea, coffee and milk.)"
"The area was beautiful and quiet and full of nature. The accomodation (& beds) was modern, warm, comfortable & had everything we needed. Communication was friendly & useful for how to get there & local dining options (which was also brilliant, friendly and delicious.) They had kindly started the fireplace before we arrived. I’d stay here again happily. "
"Friendly staff; comfortable accommodation; good food & very good prices!
" Old fashioned hospitality"!!
Booked in for one night & stayed 2.
Beautiful views from the front of the hotel."
"The history of the building and the staff were welcoming and very friendly. The complimentary Continental breakfast was exceptional. Would recommend for a memorable stay."
"The 6-Berth Ensuite Cabin came with fully equipped kitchen, electric heater in the common room, electric blankets in the bedroom. There was also an electric heater provided in the bathroom, but the curb was a little bit to low to prevent the splashing shower. Prepare your slipper as the wet floor must be cold. The cabin was clean and not too small. Staff were well-trained. "
"This is a great place to stay. So much history. The library is amazing. The cottage was built in the mid 1800’s. So it’s vey old. But certainly worth staying. Even electric blankets on the beds. "
"it was all very comfortable and warm ion a cold winters night. the door lock was a bit stiff and strange but worked ok and the bed in the front room squeaked!! minor. It was a lovely place to stay "
