"Hotel and staff are really friendly ensuring that we had a great stay. Great location right near jungle beach, which the staff offer a free shuttle service to. The breakfast is really nice and the property overlooks great views of Galle lighthouse. PickMe offers cheap Tuk Tuks/taxis to unawatuna/ galle. Overall had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend! "

"We only stayed for one night however the hotel was lovely. Small boutique hotel right on the beach with lovely pool. You can access the beach and do snorkelling to see turtles and can walk up to the coconut trees. Approx 5 minutes in a tuk tuk to mirissa for a very small fare. Hotel staff went above and beyond for everything we needed. The WiFi worked however wasn’t strong enough in our room for us to fill in our visa for Malaysia so they put a router in our room! Would recommend and would stay...

"Location and overall appeal of the hotel is great. Some staff are really good and helpful. Most are courteous but the language barrier makes it super hard at times. Front desk was the worst and there was a huge gap in requests made to them and getting those executed by the staff. Cleanliness needs a WHOLE LOT to be improved on. "There are 3 hotels in the Somerset group. This is away from the beach. Its up a very steep narrow concrete road. Its dark in the night and only 1 vehicle can go up or down this dark narrow road. The hotel staff are really nice. The rooms are a bit dated. The breakfast buffet was a joke as compared to hotels we have stayed in colombo. There was no buffet. Just a plate of fruit and eggs if you asked. Better stay is closer to the beach and somerset has a hotel right on tne beach"
