"Stayed here as we were attending the British Superbikes at Oulton Park. It’s a very convenient location with ample parking at the rear. Staff were very welcoming, check in was very easy and the room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Exactly what we needed."

We're told at reception that the room was up 2 flight of stairs but it would be worth it, Walking into room 12 our breath was taken away, it was definitely worth the climb. Dinner that evening and breakfast next morning we're excellent. Will definitely be back. Jim and Lorna"

"This hotel is located right next to the train station, and it was impossible to get a proper night’s sleep. The noise from passing trains and the station announcements continued until around midnight and started again at 5:00 a.m., making it extremely disturbing. The bathroom had no shampoo or soap provided, so we had to go to Tesco to buy our own toiletries. The room had a very unpleasant smell, and the towels looked like they had been used by the previous guest, which was...

"Absolutely amazing stay at the Rookery Hotel. Staff all went above and beyond. Truly exceptional Hotel set in the most amazing grounds. It was my partners birthday and they really went out of there way to make him feel special. The restaurant was beautiful and the food created by some very talented chefs was delicious. We will definitely return x"

"Amazing setting and beautiful grounds Great place for wedding celebrations However the rooms were rather small with limited facilities for the price paid. Breakfast times restricted to 8-10 , would extend to accommodate guests’needs. Also a bit disappointing you had to pay a supplement to have half of the items on the menu"
