PRO: The room was clean and neat; beds were comfortable; air conditioner worked well; TV had apps to access your personal streaming channels.
CON: The room was very dark; pool wasn't heated; toilet needed to be secured to the floor.
The rooms are so beautifully decorated! They feel very luxurious. The rooms have everything you need including a wide assortment of pod coffee, many towels, microwave and mini fridge.
Very clean room, well stocked with coffee/ice/towels, etc. No smoke smell in room at all. Nice wooded, peaceful area. Excellent communication from management regarding property and room access. Nice restaurant nearby. Pool was small and covered in leaves, so not really usable. Really nice room decor. Comfortable bed. Again, very clean!
The rooms have been nicely decorated, are clean and the beds are super comfortable. We ran into a few issues during our stay and the service provided was excellent. I’m planning to return.
My stay at The Fainting Couch was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in a peaceful area, the hotel radiates style and tranquility. My room was beautiful and also incredibly comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the ease of check in/out as the communication was on point. I left feeling refreshed and can't wait to return for another relaxing escape!
It was a lovely place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The self check in went smoothly. Although the road is nearby, the noise was not very noticeable (earplugs were provided, we didn't need them). FYI, it took a couple of minutes for the hot water to make it to the room in the morning but once it made it to the room, it was hot and plentiful.
The decor is uniquely presented. Comfortable, lots of space very dark decor with lots to wonder around with the eyes to see and enjoy. Lots of detail and thought put into the decor and design it seemed to me
It’s a small, new boutique hotel with no reception and a bit away from a town, but place seemed safe and secure. The rooms and fittings were excellent, of a high standard, and not a typical 2 start hotel/motel. Digital access worked smoothly and someone was on hand to respond to our requests on chat/message. We will come back again !
If you’re looking for a unique and memorable stay in Cobb, CA, look no further than The Fainting Couch. This gem of a hotel exceeded all my expectations, and I’m already planning my next visit with friends for a special occasion!
I was captivated by the hotel’s peacock-themed decor, which is both vibrant and elegant. Every detail, from the bold wallpaper to the hanging monkey lights adds a whimsical touch that creates a charming and enchanting atmosphere. The comfy bedding made it feel like a true retreat.
The pool area was one of my favorite spots. The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect place to relax and soak up the sun.
The convenience of having a great coffee shop and a well-stocked grocery store within walking distance was a huge plus.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
I really liked the room, the nice towels, great shower and comfy beds. Even though we were closed to the road, it was very quiet.
I didn't like the contactless check in. My Wi-Fi wasn't working, and I couldn't print the information before I left home because of a power outage. Finally got the information and got through the entry gate. Same problem with the door as the symbols were not easy to see. Owners responded quickly to my texts. So, all is well.
I recently stayed at The Fainting Couch to celebrate my birthday with few friends and the experience was absolutely perfect in size, space, comfort, and fun! The kitchen was an incredible space to host in, and the dining table was a dream. As someone who loves sharing meals with friends around a table, this felt like home to me. The kitchen had everything I needed right where I needed it. Loved having this experience without the need to go to a restaurant. The rooms were also so conveniently laid out. The towels felt luxurious and I had one of the best nights of sleep in a long time—I’m curious to know what mattresses they use! The many fun luxurious touches throughout the room made the stay so inviting. After the birthday weekend was over I extended my stay and worked remotely! I appreciated the beautiful outdoor settings for screen breaks. Whether it was walking in the nearby forest, hiking, or eating fresh blackberries from bushes on t he nearby stroll, the surroundings were a perfect escape. I especially loved the outdoor spaces to work from, whether by the pool or in the stunning Chandelier Park. This place offers such an upscale experience at the right price, and I can’t wait to come back. I’m already planning to do a full buyout with friends for a reunion soon!
I’ve never stayed at a motel that made me feel like I was in a luxury hotel in Vegas but that’s how I felt leaving The Fainting Couch. This place is over the top nice!
Description says pool. It is only open seasonally, so it was closed. Nothing to do on premises. Bring mosquito spray because insects are bad. Rooms were nice.
