The property is wonderfully located for public transport. It is clean and welcoming. We stayed for 5 nights and would have welcomed a half-way cleaning and replenishment of tea-bags and coffee pods. This is definitely a self-catering apartment and has no hotel services to speak of.

Bravo!

Hard to fault either the room or the owners. Nice, large, clean, well equipped room. Convenient location for both the train station and the centre of Middelburg. The service was excellent and very friendly.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating: we were able to check-in about an hour early and there was a place for us to securely store our bikes in their bike shed. It is also a very short, straight walk from the train station (less than 5 minutes). Our room was lovely — large living/sleeping space, a small kitchen with everything you might need for a longer stay, and a large clean bathroom. We had a ground floor room but while we were worried about the potential noise this was not a problem at all. We only stayed for one night but it was a great stay nonetheless and would recommend ApartHotel Waepen van Middelburg to anyone traveling to Middelburg.

A fantastic hotel

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. The location was perfect. The owner was very kind and helpful. The room was charming with a beach theme. It was clean, modern, spacious and had extras such as comfortable sitting chairs, a kitchen and a nice shower. We were on the 3rd floor and appreciated the elevator. There was secure storage for our bikes. We also appreciated that there was laundry available. This was our 15th hotel stay on this vacation and absolutely our favourite!!

Centrale plek

Het was een heerlijke kamer met vriendelijke staf. De airco maakt veel lawaai en redde het niet met de 30 graden buiten. Die kon in de nacht niet aan blijven vanwege het geluid. De straat voor heb je wel last van uitgaanspubliek in de nacht. Het ontbijt is zeer goed verzorgd en de mensen zijn vriendelijk. De kamer is heel mooi en compleet.

Het Waepen van Middelburg is een heel fijne accommodatie. Het ligt hartje centrum, vlakbij het centraal station en het winkelgebied. We hadden de suite in patio, en die was ruim en schoon, met een goed bed en een mooie badkamer. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en goed verzorgd. De fietsen konden we in het schuurtje stallen en opladen. Voor de auto zijn verschillende parkeergarages in de buurt. Echt een aanrader!!
