"Friendly & welcoming staff. We were able to leave our luggage with reception when we arrived prior to checking in time. We did have to ring the bell outside initially, then wait for a member of staff to let us in. We had 2 rooms booked & these were very nice rooms, one being very spacious. "When we arrived on a Saturday late afternoon, it was like entering a nightclub. There was a wedding with an open DJ above the bar area. It was so loud you couldn’t easily hear the staff. When in our room, the music was booming through. We asked to move to another room and they were able to facilitate this. Staff were polite and helpful. "Everything was fine, just one niggle, the bed was in need of a mattress topper as I could feel the mattress springs digging into my back! The facilities and spa treatments were excellent, and I’d like to return for another mini break. Great location, handy for city visits on foot, with nearby pubs and restaurants."

"We just spent one night in Chester to visit the rows which is a reputation of the city. The hotel itself a bit far from downtown which takes about 20 minutes by walk. The room is a bit small with no view. There is no an elevator and the stairs is quite narrow. Pros are good breakfast, free car parking, and big bed. "

"Great stay with Oddfellows, stayed in the apartment which is 5min down the road and turn left pass the Crosskey pub on the corner right to the end where there is a place with ‘Oddfellows’ on it, it came with parking aswell in the courtyard which was great! Very central but quiet enough at night by the apartment which was ideal, would definitely stay again. "
