"Idyllic spot in Hope Cove.
Room needs a bit of TLC - walls were dirty and in need of repainting in places, window latches were broken,some cushions on the beds were stained, breakfast was cold on our second morning - but overall we loved our stay. The staff were all helpful and friendly, Parking was easy enough at a cost of £10 for 24 hours. It’s a pub so expect noise in the evenings until late. "It was only a short break but we found the staff very friendly and nothing was to much trouble and the owners Alex and Myles were also very pleasant and also nothing was to much trouble the food was exceptional that the chef prepared would definitely return "

"This hotel is wonderful. Rooms are beautifully decorated with everything you could need. Comfortable bed and plenty of space. We had an evening meal which was probably the best meal ever!! Breakfast was equally good. Abby who served us was a gem. Nothing but praise. Would recommend and stay again. "
"Lovely seaside retreat, perfect location and welcoming hosts. Breakfast was great and easy walking distance to the harbour.
We had a harbour view room and the sunshine came through lovely late afternoon to enjoy whilst getting ready for the evening.
