Located in a gorgeous historic kasbah. Very friendly and welcoming staff, delicious food and gorgeous area! Can only recommend this place for an authentic moroccan experience.

A magical place

An unusual and wonderful experience! This hotel is built into the walls of a 16th century castle and offers magnificent views and excellent food. Huge portions! The owner and his staff are very welcoming and provide true oriental hospitality. The room amenities appear a bit improvised and the last 100 meters access road is unpaved and goes through the castle ruins and an arch where normal motor homes won't fit through, but you can also park in front of it and walk the last meters.The hotel owner also guides tours through the castle ruins. Definitely worth visiting!

Unser zweiter Aufenthalt im Chez Yacob. Wohnen wie in einem Museum: Eine der ältesten bewohnten Kasbahs überhaupt. Die Zimmer sind einfach und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Kleinere Unbequemlichkeiten wie eine etwas schwache Klimaanlage nimmt man da gerne in Kauf. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Abendessen und Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse - mit Blick auf den Palmengarten - waren lecker und reichhaltig.
