This was one of the best hybrid hotel/hostels I've stayed. Small compact room, but amazing window and open spaces available.

Agradable hotel céntrico

Solo pude pasar una noche en el hotel pero fue amena y el persona muy atento a las necesidades, el hotel se encuentra muy centro y cercano a varios puntos de interés de la ciudad, así cómo a dos líneas del metro lo que propicia que sea fácil y cómodo llegar.

El lugar realmente da miedo, tienen un 1 sólo baño para hombres-mujeres (el mismo) para TODO el piso, no hay ni siquiera papel. Cuando llegamos inmediatamente pedimos cancelar la reservación porque era imposible estar ahí, no nos dieron ningún reembolso y ninguna solución, perdimos el dinero y tuvimos que buscar otro hotel. Por parte de expedia TAMPOCO nos dieron solución.

I liked the amenities, which I might have used if they were geared towards people of all ages. My impression was that it is geared towards young people who like to party. In terms of service, I specifically switched my reservation to Expedia because it listed a room with two queen size beds. Instead, I was told I would get a room with one standard bed. When I told the manager that I specifically emailed about the two beds I reserved and got confirmation, I got a room with 2 "standard beds." The beds were twin sized. Also, the room was not ready at 3 pm. I waited for a couple of hours and then the bedding was not installed. I paid for a standard or even a medium starred stay. I got the service of a hostel, which the hotel is. It was not an honest sell.

Si vas con la expectativa de descansar no es el lugar. Se escucha mucho ruido, hay extranjero que no respetan la hora de dormir de otros, avise a recepción para apoyo jamás me respondieron. Los chicos del bar estan mas enfocados en besarse que en atender Mi habitación tenía un cesto grande de basura jamás se la llevaron desde que me lo dieron, los baños jamás estuvieron limpios, ni papel de baño. Opte por un baño lejos para bañarme decentemente. Creo que habia chinche en mi cama, me dio mucha picazón. Ña habitación tenia un ventilador roto y peligroso...y el.cortinero roto. El personal no es malo, pero siento que 3stan cortos por el tamaño del lugar. Si fuera extranjera creo que me.hubiera gustado la experiencia...pero fui plan de descanso y laboral salí decepcionada. No hubo internet Toda mi instancia por un problema. Solo la ubicación la salva.

An hotel that looks nothing like the photos. The hotel is not at 7minutes distance from the airport, with trafic 40 min, fluid 25 we did both. There is no check in or check out counter, there was only a security gardian who gave us the key at the entrance. The bed was not a mattress at all and it was dirty like they just made the bed and didn't change to wash them. A sofa with white powder, and I don’t thing it was baking soda to clean it up. The floor was stained with old blood. The curtains didn’t work to close them at night and the bathroom didn't had towels at all. We stayed here as emergency to spend the night because our flight was canceled after 12 hrs delayed du to volcano activity and we booked at 23hrs. We spend the night my boyfriend and I with all our clothes on because the bed was dirty. We “checked out” at 7am and even if we had the protection plan no one to answer or help us with a claim. Save 100$ and go to an other hotel but here. Nothing safe or pleasant here.

Ótima localização e ambiente agradável

Trata-se de um espaço agradável, com bar e restaurante disponível maior parte do dia. As acomodações são razoáveis, embora a limpeza não seja impecável. A equipe é atenciosa e o espaço dispõe de lugares para trabalhar ou para se divertir. Recomendo.

Un lugar bastante alegre y con mucha interacción entre los huéspedes. Podrían mejorar el mantenimiento del inmueble y detallar mas la limpieza, aunque no es mala puede ser mejor.

It's nice, but improve service, mold, and noise!

The hotel is massive, so if you're looking for a family atmosphere, this isn't the place. The library, movie room, cafe, kitchen, theater, and chilling areas were nice. The beds were very comfortable, and they changed bedding daily. Staff was helpful, but they really don't have enough people working reception, especially during checkin time. As a result, you don't get a full tour when you check in, and they may not even mention the hostel events. The location is a short walk to the Centro Historico or Salto del Agua metro, but really not a lot going on after dark (perhaps sketchy), either for food or entertainment without walking up to Regina or the Zocalo. They have an event room on the ground floor, and as I stayed in a room on the first floor, I could hear and feel the bass into the early hours on Thursday night of my stay, until 2:10am. They have earplugs at the front desk, but light sleepers probably couldn't tolerate this. The bathrooms have black mold on the ceilings which the cleaning staff must ignore or not treat. It's very obvious. Also, they took my blanket once to get washed and it took two days before they had a replacement to offer. I think maybe if they addressed the reception staff issue, the mold, and were more respectful about noise after their own posted midnight quiet hours, I could give it a higher rating. It's good if you want to meet people and maybe do some coworking, (costs extra) but I probably wouldn't pay this much for a dorm bed again.

Neat hotel co-work location in heart of action CDMX w fun community activities and lots going on… good place to meet people from all over world…great wifi, good food and convenient amenities close by… only observations would be that the Selina attracts a younger demo and the place tends to be busy and noisy at times w the activity…not a place for peace and solitude but for more for meeting others, social engagement etc… also rooms are constructed in way that noise travels quite a bit so if you’re light sleeper pack earplugs and melatonin. Cleanliness of hotel could be bumped up a notch but rooms for most part are comfortable and clean-ish. I enjoyed my stay and would return on my own.
