Easy check in and check out, walking distance to supermarket and shops, plenty of dining options, easy access to walking tracks/trails. Parking spaces are a little bit tight if you have a big car. Room was spacious for 3 people, amenities are clean, and ample kitchenette supplies too.

Property quite run down . Room draughty and drab ,peeling wallpaper, noisy neighbours, loud arguing during the night . Otherwise a convenient central location to all shops and walks.

Room 5. The door had been kicked in and had been poorly repaired. The carpet needed replacing. The wall carpet feature dated from the 1960's. There were not two items of crockery or cutlery that matched. The toilet was blocked and one had to judge when to flush in case an upstairs until did the same, causing back wash. AND, the ceiling above the shower had dropped considerably and was hanging loose. Sadly, the (apparent) relieving staff member did not speak English. However, the breakfast cereal was fresh, as was the milk. A sad experience as we had stayed in other rooms which were quite reasonable.

We stayed for 2 nights at the motor inn in Merimbula as it was centrally located. We weren’t expecting much and in hindsight should have stayed somewhere else. The place needs to be totally renovated as it is extremely dated and anything that has been updated is only because they have to. If you like peeling wallpaper, carpet as a wall dado, cracks on the wall then this is the place for you. Whist it was clean in the room the bathroom was in need of a proper clean. The electrics in the room are a bit interesting and the only good point was the large tv!
