"Room spotless, bottle of cold water and fresh milk in fridge a bonus. Staff all friendly and helpful even carried out bags up the steep stairs. Although over a pub no problem with noise. Able to park car in their car park and leave it for the whole of our stay. Did not have breakfast as visiting family very close by so went there each morning. Very convenient for bus into town"

"Jonny was very nice and accommodating. Outside was a bit dodgy because there was no name of the hotel (an old pub)but once you enter your room, it was clean and pretty. Surprisingly good. We will be back. Im sure they will upgrade/renovate the groud floor."

"Lovely property in the middle of the city centre - and yet very calm and quiet. Room was excellent, with AC and space and nicely, easily decorated, ample power sockets placed in the correct place. . Breakfast is easy - buffet style and menu for hot items.. All very good - will stay again ."

"Everything is good except for parking."

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "clean rooms and great service"

"Convenient location off the motorway. Plenty of parking. Friendly check-in. Room was spacious, clean with large bed and well fitted bathroom with a decent shower. Good facilities in the room such as hair straightener and hair dryer but no kettle. Hot/ cold water is available at a tap in the corridor so be prepared to take your teapot to get water for a brew. Food is served at the adjoining 'diner' which was always busy. Not great options for vegetarians (a plant burger) but breakfast went did...

"Great hotel, amazing location. Not every room has air conditioning so check that you have it. Although the air conditioning unit was loud, but glad I had it"

"It was such a cozy place. The room was new, clean and spacy. It located right in the market street so it was easy to walk around and find something to eat. It was not too far from the city center and the railway station."
