Staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is nice and quiet and the breakfast is good. Parking is easy but the hotel is also right on the Tweed Cycle route which makes it easily accessible by bike also. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay,yes a few areas are a little run down and tired but other areas are lovely and charismatic which I will take any day over a bland big chain run hotel, food is good and the staff are brilliant ,very quiet and lots of places to sit and relax with a drink.

We only stayed a short time due to our tight schedule, but we loved every second we did spend here! The property is gorgeous and the hotel is located in such a quiet area with no traffic.
