"Everything was magical, food, room, view and above all the friendly staff. Only improvement required was the very low pressure shower, not a complaint as we don’t have any, just an observation. Room 1 had a fantastic view of the Loch. We will be back for sure."

"We were travelling the North Coast 500. This was our fourth hotel. We had a small dog. Front door looked neglected and needed painting and the steps up to it were a potential trip hazard. Check in was good and the receptionist very helpful and welcoming. However, our room (10) was some distance from reception on the ground floor and to get to it we had to walk along a number of depressing corridors. Depressing because the walls were in poor decorative order, there were numerous warnings about steps (with yellow and black tape) various doors that had warnings on them e.g. electrical room / danger of death. Our room looked onto a car park - pathway that was weed invested and neglected. The inside door handle was hanging off. For breakfast we were not allowed in the main restaurant but directed to the "snug" where we ate alone. (Because of having a dog I think). PS: We were woken in the morning by a coach starting outside our window and left running for some while. PPS: I didn't take photos but anyone walking from reception to room 10 would feel like they were in a factory and not a hotel"

"Great location, great to have parking. Hotel is a bit dated, and overpriced for how small the rooms are. Still, it was good to find a place to stay last minute. "

"The Millcroft has a restaurant with a very good range of menu options and a good breakfast menu too. There is also a friendly public bar, loved by the locals."

"Incredible property the room was above and beyond our expectations. Clawfoot tub, coffee bar, the best bed and lovely hosts. Walking distance to Ullapool. We wished we had stayed for two nights. Very thoughtful touches to the room and our stay. We hope to be back one day!"

"Perfect location, heating took a while to warm the pod, shower and bath both great. The sign is missing for parking so not obvious where you should park. Other than that it was almost a 5 out of 5! "

"this was a beautiful stay in an out of the way and quiet location. it is close enough to the isle of skye though as it is only about an hour or so north. it is a very cute old place and very pet friendly."

"The cabin was outfitted well and very well organized. It had everything we needed. The host left scones which were delicious and very thoughtful. The area is remote and quiet, exactly what we were looking for"
