It's an interesting old building with charm. It's no frills but very clean and friendly and well run. I miss a kettle in the room. I love being close to transport and shops, eating places. I will happily stay again.

I only needed somewhere to sleep after attending the rugby. It was close to public transport, had so many dining options in walking distance and the room and beds/linen were clean. I didn't spend much time in the hotel so just to have somewhere clean and convenient to sleep, this was perfect. If I had to go to another event in or near the city, I would totally book this place again.

The building is old, you can see that from the interior and carpet. Rooms and bathrooms are basic but clean. Location is good, just two stations away from Flinders Street. Sadly though, it's not a place I will feel good to stay for a longer time

Great location transport wise. If you need a healthy meal visit Dinemic…ready made ale away meals & cafe. I’m mentioning to those who might be diabetic or need FODMAP options…checkout their website fir further details. Theirs a kitchen meals area with comfortable lounge too. The rooms have clean white linen…the bathrooms are clean often. Trams and South Yarra station are a 5 min walk. The staff are super friendly. It’s cheap and cheerful …although noisey on Saturday night but I’ll be back for sure😬
