We were in Melbourne to go to the MCG. This property was perfect, it was an easy walk for us, but if you needed, the trams are at the end of the road. Everything you would need is supplied. Thank you

Block of flats at rear of adara ( not Lennox st side) can get noisy with residents and also rubbish trucks picking up garbage from laneway

As always the Adara Richmond was welcoming and comfortable. The staff are great and the room was clean and very comfortable. A great place to stay.

Well appointed studios, clean, comfortable, convenient location to shops, cafes, supermarket and tram. Also an easy walk to tennis centre and MCG. Reception welcoming, polite and helpful. If you have a car, book a car park early to avoid the hassle of external parking.

I’ve stayed here before and love this hotel when needing to stay in richmond. It’s close to all the business with an uber, tram or walk, yet far enough away that it’s quiet down an off street. Will be requesting rooms not on the ground floor facing the street again though as there was little privacy. Other than that will be staying again for a third time in future.

Was a pleasant stay however when booking I was never told about the $100 room deposit that was required upon check in and was then left with no money I was extremely disappointed

Positive check-in experience however I was charged twice for my stay without being consulted first. When I checked in I paid for my stay upon arrival. 3 2 nights later I was charged again and only knew when my netbanking notified me. When I spoke to the front desk they told me I 'hadn't paid yet'. I showed them the paymwnt receipt as well as the transaction on my netbank app and they weren't convinced they should refund me and had to 'speak to someone about it'. Turns out they did try to ring me to notify me of charging me again for my stay but they rung my room number and not my mobile which was provided to them... I was bemused as to how staff would think guests would be more accessible to them from their rooms than on mobile since guests tend to be out while on holidays and not sitting in their hotel room. They eventually resolved the issue and refunded me for the second amount they charged me and waived my parking fee which was appreciated. The place itself needs some revamping. The hallway smelled old and the bathroom was dated. I hoped to like Adara more but was disappointed. I was frustrated

Haven't been to Richmond for five years and felt that the area had become run down - have never seen so much graffiti on Bridge Rd before. And many cafes closed down. Very sad to see but understandable given what Melbourne went through. Also noticed a fair few people with obvious mental health issues. I do hope the area recovers.

I have stayed at adara Richmond quite a few times now and always found it to be very clean and reasonably comfortable. My only improvements would be that the chairs on the balconies are very low and difficult to get of. And the pillows are not great.

Great location. Quiet for how central it is. Parking for quite a small car. The rooms are becoming dated. Black fingerprint marks across the roof, chunks / scratches / marks along walls in main apartment & bathroom. Fridge was so loud & had to turn it off overnight. Microwave itself was broken on the outside. Hot shower with great pressure. Great hairdryer! Felt like a converted old nursing quarters, uninviting / bland hallways to the rooms. Friendly staff & quick / easy check in process.

The room, reception and location were great. The only thing was the bed eas 2 singles put together and the wheels didnt lock therefore they separated multiple times throughout the night. Would have prefered a standard double/queen if given the choice.
