"It was a fine stay but there are a few small things that add up that you may want to consider. The good things: rooms were a decent size and were nice. The location is just outside the train station. You are close to the beach and there are some good restaurants in the area. It is a bit of a walk to the medina but very doable. The things that weren't great were all pretty minor but add up to the point where you might want to consider other options depending on the price. You could hear street noise despite being on the 6th floor. The water pressure was low, If you have long or thick hair it will take you a while to wash your hair. There were long waits for elevators at times. The view? A vacant lot with a pit of water. We arrived at check in time but had to wait a few minutes to get our room... like I said nothing major but added together I would look around to see what other options there were."

"This hotel is in a great location in the Messina. It’s a true character hotel and fits in with the local setting perfectly. It is an old building and while I’m confident the room and bathroom were cleaned properly, it has a feeling of being old and not so clean. But we chose this location and hotel wanting to have a great local experience (versus the typical chain of standard hotels). The room is actually beautiful with original designs typical of the era. The breakfast was included and was very good especially if you enjoy authentic Moroccan food and flavors. Because of the central location, the outside activity (a lot of it) can be heard in the room late into the evening."

"I generally never leave negative reviews for places, but this one warrants one. I messaged this property several times prior to arriving. No response. Go there and no one was there. We were left with nowhere to stay. Luckily we were able to find some good samaritans who helped us find a place. Be absolutely careful with this place or you could be left stranded. Requesting a full refund."

"Loved this hotel right at the entrance to the medina. I stayed in the terrace suite and it was a beautiful view of the city and the water. Staff were super helpful and friendly. As others said, it was loud at times because you’re in the medina, but that didn’t bother me. Extra blankets, hangers, mini fridge, TV, couch in my suite. Excellent location — so close to the port, taxis and the bus. Coffeemaker was clogged, but not a huge issue. Would absolutely stay again."
