Incredible Value

The location and price make this place unbeatable. The rooms aren't huge with a lot of space outside the bed, but the staff is friendly, the breakfast is good, and it totally does the job in a great way.

Laurelles is a great neighborhood in Medellin. Fun shops and restaurants in a pretty neighborhood. Brana is a nice hotel in a good location. easy walking to shops and restaurants. Easy access to taxis. Hotel is somewhat new. The rooms are not spacious, but have a comfortable king bed and hot water. (In Colombia you want to be sure there is hot water wherever you are staying.) Staff are helpful and friendly. Housekeepers sometimes forget to leave things like towels and blankets, but it is an easy fix. For the price, this is a nice hotel with a little pool and spa. Liked the hotel and love the area.

I enjoyed the pool. The hot sauna worked. There was no hot water. The whirlpool next to the pool was cold. Other than that, the staff were spectacular and helping bringing taxis. Also arranging prices so we don’t get ripped off. There was one lady staff, though, that was exceptional. She went out of her way to make my stay pleasant.

I booked here thinking the pool would be worth it but it wasn't. Because it was center of the complex it was rather noisy throughout the day and night in the rooms. There's very old "blind-type" windows in the room that don't block out much noise nor provide much privacy even with the tiny curtain. Pool jacuzzi area almost always in use and not much light to tan. AC was good. Breakfast good.

The room was super dirty, all around there were long hairs( on the bed, in the washing room and even on a towel), the sink was dirty, the handle of the toilet's door as well. The room was not cleaned at there was a lot of dust. The biggest problem that it was not safe there because it was not possible to close the window and every person could enter through it. There was no vegan options for breakfast. The receptionist did not do nothing about it.
