D'Prima Hotel- great for Medan airport

Great hotel 5 minutes from the airport. Excellent stay. Clean and lovely rooms. Nice restaurant. Free shuttle to the airport although it only runs every couple of hours. You can pay a small fee

Great location for the airport and the free airport transfer was super efficient! Room was very basic and only two small bottles of water provided (when I asked for extra, they refused.) I also noticed the bath towels were old and had stains on them.

The hotel is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the airport, and the free shuttle service was a great bonus. The room was clean and comfortable, ideal for a short stay before or after a flight. Breakfast could be improved. There wasn’t much of a Western selection, and dishes were rarely refilled. The restaurant was quiet in the evening, though the food itself was fine.

This hotel was great for a quick stay from the airport. It was easy and friendly airport pickup and check-in. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. The room was clean and quiet. Overall, great place to stay!

Pleased with our quick stay at the Prime Plaza

We stayed one night at the Prime Plaza. They transported the four of us and our three surfboard bags to and from the hotel in a van for a decent price. The hotel room was clean had everything we needed. We had four twin beds. The restaurant had good service and food.

Clean Rooms and Amazing Staff

My family and I have stayed at the D’prima Hotel 5 times and we keep coming back for the fantastic staff. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and the rooms are perfect for big families like ours. What really sets this hotel apart is the amazing staff. Every single person, from the shuttle driver to the bellhop and restaurant servers to the front desk, is incredibly kind and helpful. They always go out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We've had some stressful trips with six kids and a lot of luggage, but the staff made it all so easy for us. If you're in Medan and need a place near the airport, I highly recommend staying here. The rooms are simple and clean, and the staff is simply amazing.

Stayed here one night before an early flight. It is only a 5 minute taxi ride to the airport. The hotel has a free shuttle but it only goes once every two hours so unless your flight coincides with the timing it's not much use. The hotel is very modern with all the facilities you would expect. Rooms are fairly small but clean and nicely furnished and for a short stay are absolutely fine. One thing I have never come across in a hotel before is the piped music played in the corridors - you could actually hear it from inside the room, only faintly but enough to be annoying! It did turn off around 10pm but then came back on at 6am.

Decent hotel for airport transfer

We stayed here because we had an early flight, it worked out with their shuttle timings and packed lunches, but if we had an off-hour flight, I don't think they are flexible to accommodate your needs. The disappointing part came with the room. We expected four twin beds as indicated with the booking and shown in the photo, but it turned out we had 2 twin beds with two floor mattresses. Furthermore we weren't provided shampoo etc, but were too tired to bother asking for them at 1am.

It was alright. Bathroom was dirty when I went in - there was a big ball of hair in the toilet and also all of the towels were stained. Bed and room was fine. Gym was really small but had the basic requirements, except the AC was off when we went in so we had to turn it on ourselves. Airport shuttle that goes every two hours was quick and easy, but it’s a bit annoying that it’s every two hours instead of one.
