Amazing place to have quality time with your famil

After sightseeing in Prague this place was the perfect spot to fully rest my tired body and mind. It was an enchanting experience that made me feel like nobility. The service was friendly and the room was clean and well-kept. However, I didn’t use the pool or sauna facilities as they didn’t seem to be well-maintained.

Prostředí hotelu - Chateau Mcely splnilo mé očekávání, vládla přátelská atmosféra, prostředí krásné, hotel designersky vyladěný do posledního detailu, je vidět, že tohle dělá někdo srdíčkem. Co mne trochu mrzelo byly služby spojené s pohostinstvím, museli jsme čekat než si nás někdo všimne (konkrétně zimní zahrada), hotel nebyl plný hostů.

Amazing 5 Star hotel outside of Prague! Customer service was top notch. The morning continental breakfast was excellent. The history of the renovation of this chateau is very interesting. It is exquisitely redone from layout to furnishings. Mcely is a town of about 200 people so there is nothing to do outside of the Chateau besides take a walk. We stayed for two nights and would have grown stir crazy any longer. There was an extensive list of spa services. Quality of the services provided was "good", but the therapists were very friendly.

Everything First Class

This was a truly luxurious experience in every sense of the term. The restored Chateau was beautiful, and the decision to not only restore it but update it to today's tastes made the rooms the perfect mix of historical atmosphere and modern comfort. But it was the staff who made the experience absolutely wonderful. Every detail was addressed professionally, from the refreshing "nine-flower" herbal welcome drink and hot washcloth at registration, to the special little cookies and message during turn-down at night. The hotel was able to handle larger issues, too. For example, the staff was able to arrange the services of a college student Czech-English translator during the days as we wandered the countryside. And, while the gourmet restaurant meals were delicious, we never felt the staff was looking down on us when we decided that all we really wanted to do was to sit on the outdoor terrace during "happy hour" and have a couple of mugs of Pilzner Urquell beer instead of fancy cocktails or one of the vintage bottles from the wine cellar.
