"This old charmer has seen better days, but the owners are obviously determined to their best under the circumstances. Our room was clean throughout, with only a slight odor of disinfectant in the hallways. Any staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Although the menu lacked depth, the restaurant was well run and our server was excellent. The portions of both our meals exceeded expectations! Apparently, the restaurant is well-known locally for its Schnitzel, and any praise is...

"Tons of things to do, and places to visit nearby! Many stores are within walking location, if not less than 10 minutes away from the property. The room we stayed in was absolutely perfect, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filling as well. "

"It was in a great location. Lots of parking. Easy check in. Great hotel. We had a very eatly morning flight so didnt have a chance to check out the complimentsry breakfast so can comment on that. We only stayed 1 night for a concert but if i ever stay in Hamilton again I would definetly stay here. "

"It is nicely located property as close as possible to Toronto & Niagara area with relatively cheap price and fair condition. This comes with a withdraw of people smoking and setting outside the property which made me feel a little bit uneasy."

"This place is disgusting. Stayed for 1 night because Around the Bay and wish we had walked out. Room smelled like smoke as soon as we walked in, cigarette burns on the sheets and duvets. Missing pillowcases on the beds, garbage left behind the peeling furniture. Table had greasy hand prints. Never anyone at the desk to help or answer the phone. Hotel is in a super sketchy area of Hamilton as well. Stay away. "

"Outstanding housekeeping personnel. We just went put for dinner (roughly 30/40min) after a quick power nap and when we returned the room was good as new. Thanks Angie. Overall, nice surroundings, really good room, very comfy king size bed. We would have prefered a buffet for breakfast but the Isabelle serves an extraordinary mushroom benedict."
