"We’ve been here a couple of times over the past decade. While it is always clean, we’re not seeing a lot of changes or upgrades along the way. The room (35) was dark due to the heavy, dark, old fashioned bedspreads, and matching drapes. The older style lamp next to the bed has a three- way but has just a single level LED bulb, just barely adequate for reading. The bathroom has multiple defects in the paint. The toilet is VERY low and difficult to access. The dated TV worked in the evening but I couldn’t get the remote to function the next morning. All in all, the room rate ($190 CDN) seems high in proportion to what you get."
