"We had a delightful stay at Little Polynesian Resort. First up - the resort itself is very clean and comfortable and sits in the landscape nicely. Secondly the resort sits in Paradise...the view over the lagoon and the breaking waves on the reef beyond are gorgeous...not to mention the sunsets whilst you enjoy your evening meal and/or a cocktail. The staff are also very welcoming, polite, cheerful and helpful. We would stay again should we be lucky enough to return."

"Could not imagine anything on Rarotonga coming close to being as luxury as these villas. Amazing floor plans, high quality finishes, exquisitely maintained, friendliest most helpful staff possible, and gorgeous views of the water."

"Living Space: The area is compact and organized, with an efficient kitchen joining a large room with bed. The lofted ceilings make it roomier and uncrowded. Kitchen was well equipped. Patio area is spacious with nice view. Sunrises are gorgeous. Bathroom: Large space with walk-in shower. No tub. Large mirror above sink. Water pressure was excellent and hot water was plentiful. Towels are large and soft. Cleanliness and Amenities: My unit was spotless and well equipped. Large tv has Netflix, Prime, etc. (You use your own login). Overhead fan made a/c unnecessary (I was there in January, summer time). Health and Well Being: Tap water is filtered. No need to buy bottled water. Expect some insects; this is the South Pacific. You'll find geckos all over, including the bed. But they eat most of the annoying pests. All windows and patio doors are screened. Area is quiet. However, free range chickens are common in S. Pacific, so if early morning roosters bother you, cheap earplugs can fix that. Overall: Highly recommend Muri Retreat. Hosts go out of their way to orient you and make sure everything goes smoothly.
