This is Glamping! Beautiful views over the Taal lake and the volcano, feeling as living in the djungle but without the need for tent and camping fire: more civilized.
On the downside, you have to be prepared for some animals that sneaks into your room as well; we had geckos and cockroaches. If you are uncomfortable with it you can always call the staff and they will come remove them, though.
Definately more of a couples getaway or honeymoon, than family oriented or for solo travellers. But a really unusual place to stay for a few days.
There are some limitations with food as only the hotel restaurant is available nearby - but you might get a Grab Food delivery, even if a couple of them cancelled our orders as it is a bit offside for the drivers - but if you find a restaurant as close to the hotel as possible it seemed to be easier to get orders accepted and delivered.
I would definately be open to return some day again!
