"Lovely room"

"Hidden gem in the back of old Albany. Good value for money and a very well-kept, clean property with all the amenities you require, ample parking and great check-in/check-out systems."

"Beautiful old convent reinvented to a unique hotel with so much character. We walked 5 mins into the little town to grab a bite to eat and a cocktail. We only stayed one night but it was lovely and very clean."

"Staff was great, room was super-clean, breakfast was fine. The building itself is small and we were on the first floor and could hear people coming and going."

"rooms are clean and nice beds"

"Good hotel in downtown Auckland. Room was nice, so were the people. Wry small lobby space and we weren’t allowed into the bar because of a private event. We went down to the Marriot one block away… much nicer and bigger lobby space"

"Really great location, loved that. Excellent to have secure off street parking. Nice complimentary snack basket. The beds were comfortable. However, please note that the economy studio has one tiny high window, but is essentially a windowless block bunker under the back of the building. There is no natural ventilation, light or outlook. "Couldn’t be a better location. Hotel clean, staff accommodating. Room very comfortable. Would stay again and recommend to anyone traveling to Auckland"

"Yes"

"Owner was very friendly and helpful. Great service, excellent and safe location, close to shopping mall and other attractions."

"Handy, good shower, good bed and helpful stakk"

"The driveway on arrival was interesting! It's short, quite steep and winding. Fortunately, we didn't meet any traffic coming the other way, as I'm not sure what we would have done if we had! The place had a charm of its own. Our room was about what we expected: clean, tidy and compact. However, the view from the window was well beyond expectations! We had a fantastic view of central Auckland, including the Harbour Bridge and Sky Tower. And this was from one of the "budget" rooms. I imagine the...

"Staff were so lovely and the rooms were nice. It’s a shame they don’t have hot chocolate only coffee and tea."

"Unfortunately, our experience at LyLo wasn’t the best. The accommodation didn’t quite meet our expectations, and there were a few things that could have been better to make the stay more comfortable and enjoyable. For the price, we expected a better overall experience. It was okay for a short stay, but I wouldn’t be rushing back or recommending it as a first choice."
