My family and I have stayed at the Crowne Plaza IHG Ravinia multiple times— including New Year’s Eve celebrations— and this year we’re here for Thanksgiving. Every single stay has been exceptional.
First of all, the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The décor is modern, warm, and inviting, and the entire property is incredibly clean and well-maintained. The location is perfect— right across from the mall and in a calm, walkable area that feels like its own little community. Shopping, food, and entertainment are all easily accessible, which makes the stay even more convenient.
But what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and accommodating—from valet to check-in to housekeeping. The manager, Chris, is especially welcoming and makes you feel genuinely valued as a guest. You can tell the culture here is strong, because the team treats people with care and respect.
The amenities and views are great, and for New Year’s the hotel goes all out with décor and atmosphere—such a fun experience! For Thanksgiving, it’s equally warm, festive, and comfortable. If you’re an IHG loyalty member, the perks are a nice bonus— including a personalized welcome message on the TV, which I absolutely loved. It’s the little details that make a big difference.
