Thanks for your comments about your stay at Riad Al Mamoune. I must admit that 'm surprised and also disappointed to read your post-stay review. At the Riad, we do our utmost to assist our guests in ensuring they have a wonderful and memorable stay and we pride ourselves on giving our guests a 5-star service including investing our time to assist in shopping. Indeed, I invested my own time to show you around the souks and help you make some purchases at reasonable prices. My colleague Abdul (who you refer to), will also go above and beyond to make our guests stay comfortable and he is happy to purchase items like spices at local prices saving guests the trouble of paying inflated prices in the souks. He would do this without expecting anything extra in return. In this particular case, you had asked him to buy 11 different spices for you, which he did from his own money from a market which is located a little far from the Riad. After he made the purchase and brought them back to the Riad, you ended up buying only 4 of them. Abdul had to return the remaining 7 and fortunately he was able to get his money back. Furthermore, he had incurred personal expenses to acquire these spices for you at local prices, and he had only asked you to reimburse him 10DH (equivalent of just 1EUR!), which to most people would not be unreasonable given the saving you have already made. I have spoken to Abdul and his intentions were pure and genuine and he was adamant that he had not asked you for money for his services, only reimbursement for the expenses that he had incurred, and if there was any misunderstanding between you and him, then I would have appreciated it if could resolve this with him directly or with me whilst you were still at the property, instead of waiting to write a review once you had left, especially over a small insignificant amount of money. That being said, we did enjoy hosting you and we enjoyed the long chats that we had with Grace and you and we hope that this has not deterred you from staying with us in the future.

Thanks so much for your comments about your stay with us at Riad Al Mamoune. It was a pleasure hosting you at the Riad and to know you had a great time. Yes, we always recommend booking the airport transfer with us, because vehicle access inside the souk is not permitted, so there is still a short 5-7 minute walk through the souk to reach us, and a member of staff will meet you with our driver and guide you to the property. Otherwise, booking a transfer anywhere else means you need to navigate the souks to find your way. But yes, otherwise GPS works really well.

El precio es muy claro en nuestra lista de propiedade. El impuesto municipal es un impuesto impuesto por el gobierno de Marruecos y es un impuesto obligatorio que todos los turistas deben pagar. Solo se puede cobrar en la propiedad en Marruecos y no puede pagarse por adelantado en Expedia. Espero que esté claro ahora.
