This is now my go to for Colchester area, great place to stay

The Essex Golf and Country Club
Facilities were good, the bar food served was appetising. The accommodations we were provided had very outdated decor and the windows were blown out so there was no view and reduced light. I will not return.

St Nicholas Hotel
To noisy outside as club opposite other then that all good.

Staycations Maldon Suites
Very convenient location next to the car park close to where I was going on my short spring holiday. The rooms had a comfortable big bed and a lovely bath, separate shower and toilet. Thank you.
